Annual joint investment up to $60 million in state, industry, and university funds.

Opportunity Awards are also available in all of the above fields.

Agriculture Experiment Station

Research Proposals:

For most fields, research proposals are accepted twice a year.

Previous grants have ranged from $50,000 to over $3 million.

Eligible Industry Sponsors:

Businesses headquartered in California or having relevant R&D or manufacturing operations in California are eligible to apply. California Market Order Boards or businesses sponsoring a proposal which holds strong potential to demonstrably and uniquely benefit the California economy, its industry or its public may also apply.
